Manila imposes liquor ban near Bar exam sites

A liquor ban will be imposed within a 500-meter radius of the University of Santo Tomas and San Beda University in Manila on September 6, 9, and 13 to ensure a quiet environment for 2026 Bar examinees. The ban covers the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages around the two testing centers on those dates. Authorities also appealed to businesses and residents to avoid activities that could create excessive noise or disturb the examinees. Several roads near the exam sites will be temporarily closed on the same dates as part of traffic and security measures. Motorists were advised to plan trips ahead and take alternative routes to avoid delays.
