Man shares symptoms of terminal brain tumor after months of misdiagnosis

Jason Lewis-Thorne, 35, has been diagnosed with anaplastic astrocytoma, an aggressive brain tumor, after months of misdiagnosis. Initially, doctors attributed his severe headaches, vomiting, and seizures to work stress. After collapsing in May 2022, tests revealed high inflammatory markers. An MRI in September confirmed a large tumor pressing on his brain, leading to a six-hour surgery that removed 85% of the tumor. Despite treatment, Jason's cancer has spread, and he now has a prognosis of six to nine months.
