Gary Wyn Morgan, 33, was sentenced to two years in prison for assaulting police officers in Caernarfon. He admitted to punching Sergeant Phillip Kennedy, causing him to lose consciousness, after previously assaulting two constables. The incident occurred in August when police responded to a disturbance in Bangor. Morgan had already attacked PC Aron Owen and spat at PC David Newall before being taken into custody. Sgt Kennedy, who required stitches, described the attack as unprovoked and noted it was the first time he had been assaulted in his 25-year career.
