Man sentenced for stealing pacifiers from children in Essex
Josh Guilder, 24, has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for harassment and breaching a sexual harm prevention order. He previously stole pacifiers from children in Harlow, Essex, and attempted to buy used dummies online after his early release. Guilder was convicted of multiple thefts and assaults last year, serving only three months of a 14-month sentence. After his release, he contacted a mother selling baby products, making disturbing requests about her child's pacifier. His actions led to a police investigation, and he was arrested in August 2023. Guilder's behavior has raised concerns among authorities, who are closely monitoring registered sex offenders.
