Man fined after Grim Reaper costume stunt on North Wales hospital roof

A man dressed as the Grim Reaper was arrested after climbing onto a hospital roof in North Wales and was later fined for causing a disturbance. Leon Gillespie wore a black hooded costume with a scythe, stayed on Ysbyty Glan Clwyd's roof about 50 minutes, and made noises at people below before police brought him down. He pleaded guilty July 15. He claimed the costume was a bird, not the Grim Reaper. He also admitted stealing cat food and litter in March, plus food and drinks from a supermarket in May.
