Man finds 13-foot cobra in his Thai home

A man in Thailand had a shocking encounter with a giant snake while watching TV. On March 8, Wicha Phumngam felt a 13-foot king cobra slither over his feet. He screamed in surprise when he saw the snake. The cobra quickly moved away and hid under a shelf outside. Wicha called snake catchers to help remove it from his property. Video footage shows the experts arriving and carefully using hooks to catch the snake. They measured the cobra and placed it in a large bag for safe transportation. The snake catchers took about 10 minutes to find and secure the cobra. They relocated it to a remote area far from Wicha's home. Wicha mentioned he is familiar with wildlife in the area but had never seen such a large cobra before. He has encountered pythons but was surprised by this snake. King cobras are known for their dangerous venom, which can be lethal to humans.
