Man discards gun on Staten Island ferry, arrested

NYPD body cam footage shows a man throwing a gun off the Staten Island ferry, Spirit of America, on Tuesday. Officers responded to a 911 call about a firearm on board and quickly apprehended the suspect after he discarded the weapon. The NYPD scuba team later recovered the gun from the water. The suspect, Nathaniel Tabor, 24, faces multiple charges, including criminal possession of a loaded weapon and tampering with evidence. He pleaded not guilty, with bail set at $150,000 cash or $300,000 bond.
