Man dies performing at Shigmo festival in Morpirla

A man died of cardiac arrest during the Shigmo festival in Morpirla on Wednesday. Shrikant Gaonkar, 50, collapsed while performing with cymbals and was rushed to a health facility. Despite efforts to save him, Gaonkar suffered a second cardiac arrest before reaching the hospital and was pronounced dead shortly after. He was known for his community service and had held various local positions.
