Man charged with murder of woman in Ang Mo Kio flat

A 66-year-old man, Ng Chen Heng, was charged with the murder of a 67-year-old woman, Lim Suan Lian, in her Ang Mo Kio flat. He was arrested on November 29, and the incident occurred between November 27 and 29. Police found Ms. Lim dead in her home after responding to a call for assistance early on November 29. Preliminary investigations indicate that Ng and Ms. Lim were acquaintances. If convicted, Ng faces the death penalty.
