Man accused of attempted femicide in Tome-Açu, Pará, after beating partner and causing motorcycle accident

A man in Tome-Açu, Pará, is accused of severely beating his partner, leaving her in critical condition. He allegedly used a beer can as a weapon and caused a motorcycle accident. The suspect allegedly attacked the woman with a beer can, then chased her on a motorcycle, causing her to fall. While she was unconscious, he allegedly punched her and prevented her from receiving aid. Authorities have requested the suspect's arrest be converted to preventive detention for attempted femicide. The victim, 31, remains hospitalized in serious condition.
