Malaysia to develop ecosystem and regulations for autonomous vehicles

Malaysia will establish a comprehensive ecosystem and regulatory framework before adopting autonomous vehicle technology. Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo stated the government is collaborating with the Road Transport Department and other stakeholders to draft rules for driverless cars, drones, and robotics. This approach ensures careful consideration and readiness for the integration of these emerging technologies into public spaces.
