Majority of older U.S. workers seek AI training to adapt to changing job market
A recent survey shows that 51% of U.S. workers over 55 want AI training, highlighting a demand for skills in a rapidly changing job market. While 15% feel pushed toward retirement by AI, 13% are seeking new opportunities in the field. The survey reveals a significant divide in AI usage among older workers. Nearly half rarely use AI tools, but 10% engage with them daily. Despite this interest, only 16% have received formal training, leaving many to learn independently. Industries like tech and retail see higher AI adoption among seniors, while healthcare lags behind. The findings suggest that older workers are eager to adapt to AI, but they need better resources and support to bridge the digital divide.
