Maharashtra man arrested for stealing gold bars from jewelry store

A 24-year-old man, Shubham Kripa Nagane, was arrested for stealing 3.6 kg of gold bars from a jewellery store in Elephant Gate. He worked as a gold tester and allegedly took the gold on October 10. After the theft, the store manager reported the incident to the police. Authorities tracked Nagane to his hometown in Maharashtra and recovered over 1 kg of the stolen gold from him. Nagane was presented in court on November 29 and is now in custody. Police are still searching for his accomplice involved in the theft.
