Madurai Corporation has launched a city-wide QR code system to help devotees easily access essential services during the Chithirai festival. The code provides quick access to ambulances, water points, and restrooms. The QR code, accessible via mobile devices, directs users to 19 medical camps, 52 water points, 20 toilets, and 16 ambulances. The initiative aims to assist the public during the Lord Kallazhagar procession. Officials have also established a complaint hotline and deployed sanitation teams to manage waste and maintain cleanliness throughout the festival period.
