Madhya Pradesh government plans to develop Chitrakoot into a health and wellness tourism center
Madhya Pradesh will develop Chitrakoot as a health and wellness tourism center, expanding its healthcare services. This decision was announced by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav during a review of development projects. The Chief Minister emphasized prioritizing facilities for pilgrims and tourists, noting increased focus on Chitrakoot after the Ayodhya temple construction. He also reviewed progress on the Shri Ram Raja Lok project in Orchha and suggested involving companies for CSR-funded service projects in Chitrakoot. The state has identified 23 locations across nine districts for the Ram Van Gaman Path, with infrastructure projects like a cantilever glass bridge in Panna and road development in Chitrakoot underway.
