Lunacid spinoff, "Tears of the Moon," launches April 12

The indie RPG Lunacid is getting a spinoff titled Lunacid: Tears of the Moon, set to release on April 12. This new game is created using FromSoftware's 2000 game-making tool, Sword of Moonlight, which allows for custom game development. Tears of the Moon takes place thousands of years before Lunacid and features a character named Calamis Cerulean. The story involves lulling a great beast back to sleep to ensure the world's survival, contrasting with Lunacid's goal of waking it. The game will be available on Steam, and its development is supported by a community that continues to use Sword of Moonlight. The spinoff is expected to be priced lower than Lunacid's $14.
