Ludhiana prepares for monsoon season, establishes flood control

Ludhiana district administration has established 24/7 flood control rooms to monitor potential flood situations, preparing for the monsoon season starting mid-June. The control rooms, located at the district and sub-divisional levels, will be staffed with senior officers on rotation to ensure effective monitoring. The administration is focused on preventing incidents and reinforcing flood-prone areas. The administration is also finalizing evacuation plans, identifying vulnerable areas, and coordinating with various departments to ensure readiness for any emergencies during the monsoon.
