Ludhiana police arrested a security guard for impersonation

A security guard in Ludhiana was arrested Saturday for impersonating a police officer, the second such incident in two weeks. He was apprehended while wearing a police uniform and riding a motorcycle. Kulwinder Singh, the accused, claimed he dressed as a head constable "for fun" and possessed a fake ID card. Police seized the uniform, motorcycle, and ID. He is now in police remand for further investigation into potential misuse of his disguise. The arrest follows a similar case on April 26th involving a security guard posing as a Deputy Superintendent of Police. Police are investigating the source of the fake uniform and ID.
