'Lucy Schulman' Comedy Sets 2027 Release

Aero Films has acquired North American rights to the comedy "Lucy Schulman," starring David Cross, Hasan Minhaj, and Thomas Mann, with a theatrical release planned for early 2027. The film, written and directed by first-time feature filmmaker Ellie Sachs, who also stars, follows a woman moving back in with her quirky single dad after a breakup. It premiered at the Tribeca Festival earlier this year. Aero Films co-founder Ryan Pallas praised the film as a "distinctly New York comedy." Sachs expressed excitement about the partnership, noting the team's strong understanding of her project.
