LSU football adds tight end Donovan Green from Texas A&M transfer portal

LSU football has added tight end Donovan Green from Texas A&M, confirming his commitment on social media during a visit to Baton Rouge. Green, a redshirt sophomore, has two years of eligibility remaining. Green previously had a successful freshman season in 2022, with 22 catches for 233 yards and two touchdowns. He played primarily on special teams in 2023 after missing the previous year due to injury. He joins Oklahoma's Bauer Sharp as the second tight end transfer this offseason. LSU's tight end roster now includes Green, Sharp, freshman Trey'Dez Green, and four-star signee JD LaFleur.
