LPG cylinder blast at Chennai goldsmith workshop kills five

An LPG cylinder blast at a Chennai goldsmith workshop has resulted in five fatalities. Three more guest workers died from severe burns sustained in the February 25 explosion, which was caused by a gas leak igniting during metalwork. Seven workers were injured in total. Two other workers remain hospitalized, with one in intensive care. Investigations into safety protocols at the workshop are ongoing.
