LPG, CNG, PNG prices on October 6: Check rates in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and other cities
Domestic LPG, CNG, and PNG prices remained unchanged across major Indian cities on October 6, offering relief to household consumers despite volatile global energy markets, while commercial LPG cylinder rates continue to reflect a price hike announced on October 1. The price of a 14.2-kg domestic LPG cylinder ranges from ₹939.50 in Noida to ₹994 in Hyderabad, with Delhi at ₹942 and Mumbai at ₹941.50. Commercial 19-kg cylinders cost between ₹2,764.50 in Mumbai and ₹3,065 in Hyderabad. CNG prices vary from ₹86.98 per kg in Delhi to ₹112 in Hyderabad, while PNG rates span ₹48.40 per SCM in Gurugram to ₹57.48 in Chandigarh. Global crude oil remains volatile near $100 a barrel amid West Asia tensions, including conflict in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, raising concerns over future import costs. Domestic LPG rates are revised less frequently than commercial ones, and city-level prices differ due to taxes, transport, and local distribution networks.
