Low-income families get utility discounts

A new 25% discount on waste bills will be available in 2026 for low-income families. This benefit will apply to households with an ISEE below 9,530 euros or 20,000 euros for large families. This waste bill discount complements existing social bonuses for electricity, gas, and water. These bonuses are automatically applied to bills for eligible families based on their ISEE status. To access these benefits, families must submit a Dichiarazione Sostitutiva Unica (DSU) to obtain an ISEE certificate. The bonuses are valid for 12 months and can be applied to one supply per service type.
