London commuters face major disruptions on Tube and Overground services
Commuters in London are experiencing significant disruptions on the Tube and Overground due to multiple issues. The Circle line is closed because of a signal failure at Whitechapel, causing severe delays on the District and Hammersmith and City lines. The London Overground is also affected, with partial suspensions between Willesden Junction and Clapham Junction due to a track fault, and between Sydenham and West Croydon due to a points failure. Disruptions are expected to continue until at least 11am. Transport for London is accepting tickets on London Buses as services struggle to return to normal. Commuters are facing delays of up to 20 minutes on some lines, with ongoing issues at various stations.
