Lollipop Chainsaw Sequel to Debut Playable Demo at Tokyo Game Show

The Lollipop Chainsaw sequel will receive its grand unveiling and first playable demo at Tokyo Game Show 2026, with Sega serving as distribution partner in Japan and Southeast Asia. The announcement marks the project's first major update after over a year of silence. The sequel is being developed by Dragami Games, which also handled the 2024 remaster, but none of the original game's leading staff will return. Director Mr. Nasu and Hajime Tabata will host a stage show, while cosplayer PeachyMilky will appear as protagonist Juliet Starling. The project was announced in July 2025 alongside an anime adaptation, with Dragami pledging to honor the original's spirit while avoiding "excessive creative restrictions in the name of DEI." A promotional image shows Juliet in a more conservative letterman jacket facing zombie hands.
