Llandudno Pier owner vows to restore attraction after Storm Darragh damage

Llandudno Pier was severely damaged by Storm Darragh, with significant destruction to kiosks and roofs. Owner Adam Williams reported an estimated £250,000 in damages and expressed gratitude for global support following the storm. Williams stated that the pier's condition appears stable overall, but repairs will focus on the damaged roofs of the historic kiosks. He plans to ensure safety before beginning restoration efforts. The pier, which is 148 years old, may remain closed for an extended period as repairs are assessed and planned. Williams aims to reopen the attraction as soon as possible.
