Liverpool's Adidas deal may aid player contract renewals
Liverpool has secured a new multi-year deal with Adidas, set to begin in the 2025/26 season. This agreement marks a return to Adidas, which previously supplied the club's kits from 1985 to 1996 and 2006 to 2012. The deal is reportedly worth £30 million, doubling the previous amount received from Nike. This financial boost may assist Liverpool in negotiations for new contracts with key players Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk, both out of contract this summer. Adidas will provide kits for all teams, including men's, women's, and youth squads. The partnership aims to replicate past successes, as Liverpool won multiple titles during previous collaborations with the brand.
