Liverpool extends player break before Everton match
Liverpool FC has given its players extra time off before the upcoming Premier League title race. Normally, players would return to training after the international break, but due to their early FA Cup exit, they will rest until next Wednesday's match against local rivals Everton. The Reds lead the Premier League by 12 points over Arsenal and only need 16 more points to secure their 20th title. With just nine games left and having already exited the Champions League, Liverpool's schedule has become lighter compared to earlier in the season. Liverpool's players had shown signs of fatigue, especially after a loss in the League Cup final. They last played two weeks ago and are set to return to action soon. Goalkeeper Alisson Becker is expected to be fine after a concussion, while Ryan Gravenberch's fitness will be assessed. Injury updates include Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez, and Conor Bradley, all of whom have been recovering and are anticipated to return before the season ends. However, midfielder Tyler Morton may be sidelined following a shoulder operation.
