LinkedIn is updating its Terms of Service to allow expanded use of user data for AI training and personalized advertising through Microsoft. The changes, effective November 3, 2025, will enable LinkedIn to share more profile and activity data with Microsoft for ad targeting and use member data to train AI models for enhanced features. Users outside the EU can opt out of personalized ads and AI training data usage, though opting out of ads may not stop them from being shown.
