LinkedIn to use user data for AI training and Microsoft sharing

LinkedIn will use user data to train AI models and share it with Microsoft starting November 3, 2025. Users can opt-out via settings. The platform will utilize profile information, work history, education, posts, and comments for AI training, excluding private messages. This policy applies to users in the EU, EEA, UK, Switzerland, Canada, and Hong Kong. LinkedIn believes this will enhance user experience and opportunities, while also sharing data with Microsoft for advertising purposes. Users can disable this feature in their data privacy settings.
