Lil Shine releases new album "Shine Forever" amid legal challenges
Minneapolis rapper Lil Shine has released his new album, "Shine Forever," despite facing multiple federal charges. The 20-year-old artist was indicted in December for allegedly hacking the DEA to obtain codeine prescriptions. Shine, whose real name is Jasper William Johnson, is accused of conspiracy, wire fraud, and identity theft. He allegedly worked with two others to secure large quantities of controlled substances for sale. Despite these legal troubles, Lil Shine completed the 13-track album, showcasing his PluggnB and trap style. He claims innocence regarding the charges and aims to continue his music career.
