Light traffic expected on NLEX and SCTEX this Christmas Eve

inquirer.net

Motorists traveling on Christmas Eve can expect light traffic on the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX). Officials noted that traffic has been moving quickly, with fewer delays anticipated compared to previous days. The easing of traffic is attributed to a surge of travelers observed last Friday and Saturday. Officials reported that minor incidents occurred but did not impact overall traffic flow. Additionally, toll fees will be waived on all expressways from 10 p.m. on Christmas Eve until 6 a.m. on Christmas Day. This free toll period will also apply on New Year’s Eve.
