LEGO Unveils $230 Batmobile Set From Michael Keaton's Batman Returns

LEGO has unveiled a new display set recreating the Batmobile from Michael Keaton's 1992 film Batman Returns, marking the first official LEGO version of the vehicle. The 2,269-piece model costs $229.99 and is designed primarily for adult collectors. The set includes a Batman mini figure, detailed steering wheel, control panels, and a working Batmissile feature activated by a button. LEGO Insiders could purchase it early on September 1, 2026, ahead of its official release on September 4, 2026. The release coincides with LEGO's 20th anniversary of its Batman line, which began in 2006. Batman Returns, directed by Tim Burton, starred Keaton alongside Danny DeVito, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Christopher Walken, and was the second film in the 1989-1997 Batman series.
