League of Legends to introduce annual rank resets and new Noxus-themed map in 2025

Riot Games has announced significant changes for League of Legends in 2025. Players will see their ranks reset once a year instead of every season. A new Noxus-themed map will also be introduced, featuring updated visuals and new gameplay elements. Viktor will receive a rework to align with his Arcane character, including visual and audio updates. His skins will be updated, and his price will increase from 520 RP to 750 RP. A new enemy, Atakhan, will spawn in the jungle after 20 minutes, with different versions appearing based on game performance. A new game mode called Swiftplay is being tested, offering a more relaxed and faster-paced experience. This mode will provide increased rewards for players who are behind and will adjust key game timings for a quicker experience. Swiftplay will initially be available in select regions, with plans to expand if successful.
