The newly renovated "green corridor" in Le Lavandou, featuring over 50 trees, was officially inaugurated today, enhancing the town's green spaces. The transformation of Avenue Pierre de Coubertin, connecting the Grand Jardin to Avenue du Président Auriol, replaced asphalt and parking with greenery, including 51 trees, 189 shrubs, and 542 perennials, improving rainwater infiltration. The project cost 408,000 euros. This project, part of a broader initiative, aims to create a more pedestrian-friendly environment, connecting various amenities and improving the quality of life for residents, with a new 35-space parking area available.
