mb.com.ph —

Las Piñas Mayor April Aguilar is urging the city’s 20 barangays to take a stronger role in the anti-drug campaign, with each preparing its own action plan for 2027. Aguilar emphasized that community-level efforts are key to tackling the drug problem, using programs tailored to each barangay’s specific needs. The plans were developed during the SICAP-BADAC 2026 event, organized by the Las Piñas City Anti-Drug Abuse Office. The 2027 Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Plans of Action include awareness campaigns, educational activities, preventive programs, and community-based support for reintegration. The initiative involved the DILG, local police, and PDEA-NCR, with the city government pledging continued collaboration.
