Larry David's baseball cards dominate 2025 Topps Series
Larry David is making headlines in the world of baseball cards. The creator of "Seinfeld" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm" has become a star in the 2025 Topps Baseball Series 1. Topps has included autographed cards of David, who is not a baseball player. These cards have gained immense popularity among collectors. In fact, four out of the five highest-selling cards from this series are David's autographs, according to Card Ladder. The most expensive card recently sold for $10,100.03. The autographed cards showcase David playing softball from a famous episode of "Curb Your Enthusiasm." Each card features his signature in blue ink. Initially, these cards were redemptions, meaning collectors received an I.O.U. until the actual card was ready. Topps quickly got the signed cards out after the series released in February. This collaboration is not new for Topps. David previously appeared in a commercial as Yankees owner George Steinbrenner. He humorously revisited his character from "Seinfeld," showcasing his unique New York persona. David’s cards illustrate how pop culture can connect with sports, resonating with both baseball fans and card collectors alike.
