Larridin raises $30 million to help companies track AI spending
Larridin, a San Francisco startup, raised $30 million in Series A funding to help companies track AI spending and measure returns on their investments. The funding round was led by Pelion Ventures with participation from a16z and others. Larridin's platform analyzes employee AI usage, including prompts, to identify productivity gains and training needs while protecting privacy by not storing content. The company grew from one enterprise customer in December to 50 now. The funding comes as companies shift from aggressively encouraging AI adoption to scrutinizing costs. Larridin plans to double its 20-person staff and aims to become a third-party measurement standard for AI, similar to Nielsen or Datadog in other industries.
