LaLiga has deployed an AI-driven system to combat illegal IPTV football streaming, automating the detection, negotiation, and blocking of unauthorized broadcasts. The new platform replaces manual monitoring methods with autonomous processes that track infrastructure and enforce takedowns. The system, developed by Randy Labs and named DRE, maps servers and traffic routes before matches begin, sending automated notifications to network providers demanding signal shutdowns. Its AI agents handle responses and technical arguments, while the Airon module executes targeted blocks on telecom networks, aiming to avoid previous collateral damage. Earlier mass IP blocking by LaLiga affected hundreds of thousands of legitimate domains in Europe, drawing criticism from digital rights groups and internet providers. This new approach seeks to reduce legal disputes and improve precision, marking a significant shift in digital rights enforcement.
