Lakidi Upasana Seva Samiti builds home for Rithik's family in Pathirippala

The Lakidi Upasana Seva Samiti is building a home for Rithik's family in Pathirippala, providing crucial support after previous appeals to officials, including a minister, yielded no action. The family had sought a safe place to live after their old house became dilapidated. Two years ago, Rithik, then a second-grader, averted a major disaster by alerting electricity board officials to a falling power line. Though he was honored and promised help by the then-minister, no home materialized even as he reached fourth grade. The family consists of Rithik, his mother, and sister. The committee is constructing a 350-square-foot tiled house, with flooring and plastering still pending. Upasana Seva Samiti president V. Balagopalan stated the work will be completed within ten days, funded by contributions from various donors.
