Kyrie Irving undergoes successful ACL surgery, starting rehabilitation

Kyrie Irving successfully underwent surgery to repair a torn ACL in his left knee. The Dallas Mavericks guard injured himself two weeks ago during a game against the Sacramento Kings. He will now begin his rehabilitation process. Irving, who is 33 years old, is expected to miss the remainder of the NBA season. Doctors anticipate he will return to the court in early 2026. In the current NBA season, Irving played in 50 games, averaging 24.7 points per game. He shot 47.3% from the field, 40.1% from three-point range, and 91.6% from the free-throw line, along with 4.8 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game.
