Kyiv energy workers adjust power schedules for Darnytskyi and Dnipro districts after Darnytsia CHPP damage

Kyiv energy workers are adjusting power schedules to provide more electricity to homes in the Darnytskyi and Dnipro districts following damage to the Darnytsia CHPP. The Darnytsia CHPP, which supplied heat to these districts, was severely damaged by a Russian strike. Restoration of heat supply is not expected soon, prompting the shift in electricity distribution. The Ministry of Energy also noted ongoing efforts to install distributed generation and secure international aid, including transformers and generators, to bolster the energy infrastructure.
