Krishnagiri land dispute leads to farmer's murder

A 40-year-old farmer was murdered in Krishnagiri district on Saturday, following a land dispute and the alleged spread of a morphed picture. The victim, R. Prabhu, died from injuries sustained in an attack. The attack occurred Thursday evening at Prabhu's home, allegedly by relatives of his neighbor, Govindaraj, with whom he had a land dispute. Prabhu had reportedly shared a manipulated image of Govindaraj's wife on social media. Police have arrested six individuals in connection with the murder and are currently investigating the case. The incident occurred near Kurubarapalli, and the victim was admitted to a local hospital.
