Kremlin adviser claims Russia's airspace safe despite drone-driven airport chaos

Anton Kobyakov, an adviser to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, claimed Russia's airspace remains safe for flights despite regular drone attacks and major airport disruptions. He stated Russian authorities have taken "all possible measures" to ensure aviation safety. Kobyakov's statement came after a new drone attack on Moscow on September 2, when over 120 flights at Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo airports were canceled or delayed. A special "Kover" regime restricting flights was introduced due to drone threats, with some flights postponed to the next day. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky previously said Russian airspace is becoming increasingly dangerous for civil aviation due to the massive presence of drones.
