Krasnogvardeysky district residents ski in annual race

Over 200 residents participated in the annual Krasnogvardeyskaya Lyzhnya cross-country ski race. The event included participants of all ages, from children to seasoned athletes and veterans. The competition, held in Polustrovsky Park, marked the first district-level sporting event of the year. Many participants used the race to fulfill GTO (Ready for Labor and Defense) standards for cross-country skiing. The oldest participant, 83-year-old Mikhail Kostyunichev, a decorated veteran athlete, highlighted the importance of physical activity for health. Ski trails were prepared in several local parks for the event.
