Kochi Metro to reveal feeder bus routes and fares within a week

Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) will announce the routes and fare structure for its new feeder buses within a week. The 15 air-conditioned buses are currently completing trial runs on various routes, including Infopark and the international airport. The fare structure will align with government norms. The trial runs are assessing travel times and battery range for the buses, which aim to connect metro stations with key areas for IT professionals and students. KMRL plans to operate its own feeder buses after previous attempts with e-buses were unsuccessful. Two routes have been confirmed, with more to be finalized based on passenger demand.
