Klaus Doldinger, composer of the iconic "Tatort" theme and film scores, has died at age 89. Doldinger, known as Germany's "King of Jazz," also composed music for "Das Boot" and "The NeverEnding Story," reaching a vast audience. He passed away peacefully at home on Thursday evening. A celebrated saxophonist and bandleader of "Passport," Doldinger had a career spanning over 50 years and more than 5,000 performances.
