KL police promote five senior officers to SAC in leadership reshuffle

Five senior Kuala Lumpur police officers were promoted from Assistant Commissioner to Senior Assistant Commissioner and appointed to new leadership posts on Thursday. Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Fadil Marsus officiated the ceremony. Promoted officers include Sazalee Adam as Kuala Lumpur CID chief, plus Basri, Zulkarnain, Kamaruzaman and Haslah in CID, Special Branch and integrity-related roles. ACPs Kee Hang Kee and Saefuddin also received appointments. Fadil said promotions recognise dedication but carry greater responsibility, and transfers bring fresh ideas. He urged personnel to fight crime, especially drug abuse, and strengthen community ties. Perkep leadership handovers also occurred.
