Kitten Thrown Against Gate in Italy Saved After TV Host Pays Vet Bills
A three-month-old kitten named Ninfa was thrown against a gate in San Donà di Piave, Italy, on September 21, suffering a severe head trauma. TV host Francesca Fialdini paid for all medical expenses after learning of the case, and the cat has now been discharged. The kitten was found immobile by a resident who heard a loud noise and contacted the local animal protection association Adas. Veterinarians diagnosed a fractured jaw and a protruding left eye, with the cat showing initial signs of recovery four days later. Ninfa is now recovering at a volunteer's home, though long-term neurological effects remain uncertain. Fialdini, dubbed the "fairy godmother" by the clinic, thanked the volunteers and medics who cared for the animal.
