Kiko Barzaga surrenders to police over cyberlibel warrant

Suspended lawmaker Kiko Barzaga surrendered to police on Monday, April 13, following a court-issued arrest warrant for cyberlibel charges. The warrant stems from eight counts of cyberlibel filed by tycoon Enrique Razon. Barzaga had accused Razon of bribery without proof, later apologizing. Bail was set at P48,000 per count. Barzaga has been suspended from the House since December for social media behavior, including alleged incitement to sedition and vilification of colleagues and a private individual.
